V (뷔) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, producer and actor under BigHit Music. He is a member of the of the South Korean boy group BTS. He will make his solo debut on September 8, 2023 with his first mini album Layover.
Pre-debut:
– Pre-debut, V was the “secret member” of BTS: fans were unaware of his existence as his agency wished to keep him a surprise.
2013 – present: BTS
– He debuted as a member of BTS on June 13, 2013 with the group’s first single album “2 Cool 4 Skool”.
Solo activities:
– In 2020, V contributed the indie pop single “Sweet Night” to the soundtrack of the JTBC drama Itaewon Class, released on March 13.
– On December 25, 2020, he released the Christmas-themed song “Snow Flower“, featuring Peakboy.
– On December 24, 2021, V released the single “Christmas Tree” as part of the original soundtrack for the Studio N television series Our Beloved Summer.
– On August 8, 2023, BigHit announced that V will be releasing his first mini album, Layover, on September 8. “Love Me Again” and “Rainy Days” were pre-released on August 11.
